Brothers Juan and Geraldo Ayala moved with
their parents from Zamora, Michoacan, Mexico, to Rochester, Washington,
nearly 30 years ago. In late 1999 they opened Ayala Brothers Furniture Co. in an 1800 sq. foot space, but quickly outgrew that location. In 2001 the business moved to a circa 1907 historical building at 305 N. Tower Ave. in Centralia's downtown business district. The three-story building more than tripled their space, and the company received the Pride of Centralia Award that year for their part in downtown revitalization efforts. The move allowed the company to greatly expand the quantity and variety of furniture they carry. It also made it possible for Ayala Brothers Furniture Co. to feature more unfinished furniture and to provide custom design, finishing, and interior design services. Ayala Brothers Furniture Co. wants its customers to "take pride in their home." Customers come from Seattle, Olympia, and beyond to shop for high quality, unique furniture.
